Work is well underway on the next step of our new dream, “The Wedding Castle” in Valkenburg. In addition to a beautiful new bridal store, it will also house a beauty salon, two restaurants and a hotel. This will allow us to make the experience and hospitality even more special and complete. The hotel and restaurants will offer a high level of hospitality and be a real gastronomic experience for our guests.

    • About this position

    As a seamstress, you’ll handle all tailoring work related to our bridal fashion. This may include wedding dresses, men’s suits, and First Communion attire. Your duties will include cutting, basting, sewing, hemming, and estimating the time required for each garment. Adjusting and altering garments is also part of your responsibilities. During fitting appointments, our stylists rely on your expertise when advising our customers. You’re happy to assist them and see it as a shared challenge to help the customer shine on their special day—with a smile and the perfect outfit.

    You have a genuine passion for the craft, an eye for detail, and creativity. You are flexible and patient, customer-focused, and understand what it takes to deliver high-quality, perfectly fitting garments.

    Who are you?

    • At least 2 years of all-around experience as a seamstress (experience in bridal fashion is a plus).
    • You are meticulous and have a good understanding of the work involved in dressmaking.
    • You can work independently, but also as part of a team.
    • You enjoy interacting with customers, are customer-friendly, and flexible.

    • Part-time or full-time position (workdays to be determined).
    • 25 vacation days obv 38-hour work week.
    • Salary in accordance with the INretail non-food collective bargaining agreement.
