A bonus wedding!<\/span><\/h1>\n

Last week, we were introduced to the new couple, Patricia and Stephan. In this episode of *Married At First Sight*, it\u2019s time for the season\u2019s final wedding. Meanwhile, all the other couples are much further along in the experiment and are trying to find their way together. Some couples are doing a little better than others. We\u2019ll bring you up to speed again in this blog! <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

Patricia and Stephan’s<\/strong> wedding is on the schedule. They didn’t have to wait long<\/strong>, because after they were surprised with the news that they were going to get married after all in this season of Married At First Sight<\/a><\/strong> , they only had to wait three more weeks in suspense. Since this couple started the experiment a bit later, this wedding will be a real whirlwind affair<\/strong>. There\u2019s no time for a party or a hotel stay. After Patricia and Stephan get married, they\u2019ll head straight off on their honeymoon<\/strong>. Fortunately, the couple\u2019s family and friends fully support the experiment and are happy for this bride and groom. We\u2019re definitely giving 100 points to Patricia\u2019s incredibly fun and friendly mother<\/strong>. Stephan had a little trouble understanding her Brabant accent at first, but his first meeting with his future mother-in-law<\/strong> went incredibly well. Patricia meets Stephan\u2019s sister<\/strong>, and that meeting goes smoothly as well. Time for the wedding! The moment Patricia walks down the aisle and the couple sees each other for the first time is beautiful. Stephan gets a little teary-eyed<\/strong>, and Patricia also starts to beam<\/strong> when she sees her groom for the first time. Their first meeting couldn\u2019t have gone better!<\/strong> The officiant\u2019s speech is regularly interrupted by the cheerful couple for fun and funny little exchanges. We\u2019ve never seen a MAFS couple<\/strong> connect with each other in such a delightful way right from the very start. We\u2019ll find out in the next episode whether Patricia and Stephan will also say \u201cI do\u201d to each other. <\/p>\n

After the heated conversation Remco and Paula <\/strong>had with expert Patrick in <\/strong>the previous episode, they decided to spend the day apart<\/strong>. The couple needs some space to sort out their own thoughts. Over breakfast, the two talk things over briefly. Paula mentions that she did notice<\/strong> some anger on Remco\u2019s part<\/strong> during the conversation with Patrick. Remco confirms this and admits he\u2019s also feeling some anger because he \u2019s<\/strong> so disappointed with how the experiment with his match is going<\/strong>. After breakfast, Remco decides to go for a good bike ride while Paula stays at the hotel to relax. After Remco returns, the couple goes swimming together, and Remco wants to talk things over with Paula<\/strong>. We\u2019ve seen this scenario before this season, of course, and it didn\u2019t work out well<\/strong> for that couple. Remco mentioned that there was something on his mind that he hadn\u2019t shared during his conversation with Patrick either. Nervously, he tells Paula that she isn\u2019t his match<\/strong>. He was looking for a true sportswoman and is therefore disappointed that the experts didn\u2019t really find him a sportswoman in Paula. So it seems<\/strong> the couple still can\u2019t seem to get any closer<\/strong>, but the preview for the next episode does offer a glimmer of hope. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

Laura and Cathalijne<\/strong> wake up together after their wedding and set off on their honeymoon. The newlyweds come across as very relaxed and calm. Because of this, it might seem as though they \u2019re<\/strong> deliberately keeping a little distance,<\/strong> but as soon as the honeymoon begins, we regularly see them hugging and kissing<\/strong> and playfully teasing each other. On the first day of their honeymoon, the ladies do something they both really enjoy: visiting an animal shelter and walking the dogs. For both Laura and Cathalijne, animals<\/strong> are very important<\/strong> in their lives, and this is a common interest they both share. The ladies are already starting to fantasize about adopting a dog together. They both clearly envision a \u201chouse, tree, and pet\u201d kind of life<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Loes & Wichian<\/strong> are enjoying a creative afternoon on sunny Tenerife. They attend a ceramics workshop together, where they once again have a lot of fun<\/strong>. A little later, Loes finally strikes up a conversation with Wichian. She tells him openly and honestly<\/strong> that she feels her insecurities<\/strong> are starting to resurface a bit. The two get along well and can talk easily with each other. Loes feels that Wichian is getting closer to<\/strong> her .<\/strong> She has lost several people in her life, which has left<\/strong> her with a fear of losing people<\/strong>. She\u2019s now starting to feel this way toward Wichian as well. Loes wants to explore this feeling and see how she can grow in this area. One thing is certain: this couple is a master at communication<\/strong>. It\u2019s incredibly impressive that they\u2019re able to talk openly together about their insecurities. Loes and Wichian really like each other<\/strong>, and they\u2019re open about it. We see a couple who are building an incredibly strong foundation together! <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
