Sometimes a wedding date takes on a meaning that goes far beyond just saying “I do.” Marina (32) is getting married to Jordy next year in <\/strong>July, the birthday of her late mother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marina was 15 when her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and 18 when she lost her. The two were inseparable. The fact that her mother isn\u2019t by her side as she picks out her wedding dress remains a great loss. Still, today Marina is surrounded by women who have played an important role in her life for many years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among them is her friend Denise, who promised Marina\u2019s mother on her deathbed that she would always look out for her \u201cgirl.\u201d On a day like this, that promise suddenly takes on even greater meaning. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    With Jordy, love came unexpectedly\u2014and at lightning speed. They met at the gym, and it felt right from the very first moment. They\u2019ve been together for a year now, and they know one thing for sure: they want to get married next summer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    It’s just that dress\u2026 Marina isn’t quite as sure about that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Strapless with a high slit? A big princess dress? Or maybe a form-fitting lace dress with long sleeves? Even a minimalist Hailey Bieber vibe is an option. In short: stylist Romy can go in any direction. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The dress by Azuree<\/a><\/strong> is clean and elegant, but anything but conservative. The draped bodice, the strapless neckline, and that high slit give Marina exactly the modern, feminine look that suits her. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In July 2027, she\u2019ll wear this dress when she says \u201cI do\u201d to Jordy\u2014on her mother\u2019s birthday, surrounded by the people who love her. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    With five children, there\u2019s almost always someone else who\u2019s number one for Carmelina (40). But not today. Today, it’s all about her.<\/strong> And that might take some getting used to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Carmelina has been with Bas for six years, and together they have a large family with five children. A few months ago, their youngest was born: after four boys, they finally welcomed a girl. This fall, Carmelina and Bas will get married at a charming winter wedding. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    But\u2026 what will Carmelina actually wear as a bride?<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    For Anna (24), getting married is like a fairy tale. She can still look at her ring and think, \u201cWow, I\u2019m actually getting married<\/em>.\u201d Next September is the big day, and she\u2019ll say \u201cI do\u201d to Lucas, with whom she\u2019s been living for three years now. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    But before she can walk down the aisle, there\u2019s, of course, one very important thing left to take care of: the dress<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Katerina has a progressive eye condition. She is blind in one eye, and with her other eye she can only see a small area. To see Anna clearly, she therefore has to focus on her very deliberately. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    No one knows what her vision will be like on Anna’s wedding day. But she’s here today. Today, she can still see her daughter in her wedding dress. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    And that makes the moment when Anna comes out of the fitting room in a little while suddenly very special.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Together with her mother, her mother-in-law Britta, and her friends Yasmijn and Daphne\u2014who now think of Anna as their little sister\u2014the search is about to begin.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Flowy, elegant, and a little bit like a fairy tale<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Anna doesn’t yet have a very clear picture of her dream dress. In fact, she’s never even tried on a wedding dress. She does know, however, that she’s looking for something flowy that will be a perfect fit for their wedding at a castle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Fortunately, stylist Romy is ready to showcase the different sides of herself as a bride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
