On December 10, 2023, Koonings opened the doors of the wedding palace for a fairytale event like never before: The Grandest Wedding Event Ever.
An inspiring bridal event with workshops, Q&As, talks and no less than 7 bridal shows for bride and groom. You could get married for a day, there were wedding cakes, live music and wedding planners. And you could have your presence captured at the photobooths or by an artist. The day literally ended with a bang!

My name is Marinka and together with my partner I run Marmenti. With Marmenti, our services include flower arrangements, styling, wedding planning and master of ceremonies for weddings. We believe it is important to listen carefully to the wishes of the bride and groom so that the result will be exactly as they envision.
Marmenti’s artwork was on display throughout the building during the event.

During her workshops “Happy ever after: The I do’s & I don’ts” she told all about the do’s & don’ts during the wedding night and after.

Cake 5 Exclusive Cakes
We are Claudia and Pim, owners of Cake 5 Exclusive Cakes. At Cake 5 Exclusive Cakes, you can find exclusive edible art objects. Your wedding cake will be designed together with you during a free intake meeting with us in Tilburg. We would love to welcome you to our studio, where we are busy creating beautiful projects every week. During this conversation, you will also go cake tasting to arrive at the perfect taste of your wedding cake. A design of the cake will be sent to you later so you can get a good idea of what the cake will look like on your wedding day. Claudia is in charge of the creative process and Pim is responsible for the taste and organization of it all. Also, Pim is also a wedding officiant and has a unique concept called “the CakeBABS.” That means he can be your wedding officiant and take the guests after the ceremony for the cutting of the cake.
BABS
It all starts at the ceremony. From the very first moment, it should be your day and everyone should feel that the party has begun. Because your love should be celebrated. You can’t go wrong with a BABS you have a click with!
BABS Marielle Jongmans
The “Your wedding ceremony” workshop at the event was a collaboration between singer Mindy (trouwliedjes.nl) and wedding officiant Marielle (known as BABS from Married At First Sight). Together they will make your wedding unforgettable!
Sergio Vyent
Sergio Vyent is the country’s best-known matchmaker. As a former host of First Dates, he knows better than anyone how beautiful love is. That he is also employable as a BABS is a logical step. With his warmth, enthusiasm and cordiality, he engaged with the audience on Dec. 10, seeking the most wonderful stories of love.
BABS Benny
On December 10, you could get “faux bonded” by BABS Benny (known from Married At First Sight). Getting married for a day and experiencing what it’s like to stand at the altar.
